KYIV, July 11 – Ukraine Power Bridge Company Limited (a consortium consisting of Westinghouse Electric Sweden AB, Polenergia International S.àr.l. and EDF Trading Limited), registered in Ireland in February 2019, has become the only candidate in a tender to select a private partner for the implementation of the Ukraine-EU Power Bridge project, the press service of the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry reported on Wednesday.

The bids were opened at a meeting of the tender commission.

The bids are to be assessed in no more than 45 days from the day of their opening.

On June 13, 2019, Energy and Coal Industry Minister Ihor Nasalyk said that only the above-mentioned consortium was allowed to participate in the tender.
