KYIV, March 1 – Myronivsky Hliboproduct (MHP) has completed the first phase of a biogas complex with a capacity of 12 MW at the Ladyzhyn poultry farm in Vinnytsia region and in March the plant will start generating electricity from biogas, MHP ECO Energy Director Ivan Traksler said at the Ukrainian Energy Forum on Thursday.
He said that the plant will reach the projected capacity by the end of this year.
Biogas at the Ladyzhyn poultry farm is made from poultry manure, along with energy organic fertilizers are made during the burning process.
