KIEV, Dec. 1 – An auction commission for the organization and holding of auctions of access to interstate power transmission lines for electricity exports has approved the schedule for holding auctions in 2010.

Fuel and Energy Ministry spokesman Fant Di said that according to the schedule, on December 8 an announcement on the holding of auctions for 2010 and for January will be published, and December 14 is a deadline for submission of bids to take part in the auctions. On December 15 the commission will open the envelopes, on December 16 the date of auctions will be set and on December 17 the results of the auctions will be announced.
