KIEV, Oct. 22 – Kyivstar GSM believes that a presidential decree blocking a cabinet resolution on the conversion of radio frequency bands for the introduction of 3G mobile communications will adversely affect the development of the telecoms industry and the economy in the country in general.

"The broad demand for Internet services in Ukraine formed long ago. Meeting that demand depends precisely on the introduction of 3G technology," reads a Kyivstar commentary sent to Interfax-Ukraine.
