KIEV, July 7 - EnergoAtom, the state-owned nuclear power generator, reflecting weaker demand for power due to economic crisis, cut output 13% on year to 41.98 billion kWh in January through June, the company reported Wednesday.
Khmelnytsky NPP cut generation by 14.8%, to 5.692 billion kWh, Yuzhnoukrainsk NPP, taking into account Tashlyk hydro power plant and Oleksandrivka hydro power plant, cut electricity generation by 24.2%, to 8.622 billion kWh, Zaporizhia NPP cut electricity generation by 4.5%, to 19.436 billion kWh, and Rivne NPP cut electricity generation by 16.8%, to 7.113 billion kWh.
