KIEV, March 3 – Ukraine’s fragile political agreement between pro-government groups and opposition parties collapsed on Monday shortly after Russian gas giant Gazprom moved to cut by 30% gas supplies to the country.

Pro-Russian parties, such as the Regions Party and the Communist party, demanded Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko report to Parliament over the escalating gas dispute and its effect on the economy.
