KIEV, Jan. 14 – Ukraine and Slovakia on Monday pledged to use existing oil pipelines on their territories for arranging a test-run shipment of Caspian Sea crude to an oil refinery in the Czech Republic.

The project, if successful, would arrange supplies of the Caspian crude via Odessa-Brody oil pipeline and then via Druzhba oil pipeline to the oil refinery, potentially reducing Europe’s dependence on Russian oil.
