KIEV, Dec. 4 - BYT MPs Yulia Tymoshenko, Oleksandr Turchynov, and Andriy Portnov have submitted a bill to Parliament abolishing conscription and proposing military service on a contract basis.

The draft bill was registered on Dec. 4.

The draft bill reserves the possibility of conscription during special periods.
