KIEV, Oct. 11 – At least two years will be needed for talks to arrange sufficient supplies of Caspian Sea crude via Odessa-Brody to big oil refineries in the European Union, a Ukrainian official said Thursday.

Ukraine, Poland, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Lithuania on Wednesday pledged to join forces to build the Caspian oil shipment route that would allow them to reduce dependence on Russian oil supplies.
