KIEV, Oct. 8 – Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych on Monday for the first time admitted his Regions Party may shift to opposition following the Sept. 30 snap election, suggesting the party is close to conceding the defeat.

The Regions Party scored more votes than any other group at the election, but it had fallen short of majority and will now be replaced by an alliance of two pro-Western groups.
