KIEV, Sept. 10 – Two pro-Western parties, in a combined rating, have lost their lead over Ukraine’s two main pro-Russian parties ahead of the Sept. 30 election, according to poll data released Monday.
Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych’s Regions Party and its ally, the Communist Party, both increased their ratings, while support for President Viktor Yushchenko’s group, Our Ukraine-People’s Self-defense, dropped, the poll showed.
