KIEV, Sept. 5 - Ukraine will tighten control over the quality of gasoline and diesel fuel sold domestically and will announce new quality standards within two weeks, Energy and Fuel Minister Yuriy Boyko said Wednesday.

The new standards, known as Euro-3, will probably be announced by the State Committee on Standards on Sept. 20, while it will take a year for them to take effect.
