KYIV, Jan 27 – Ukraine is prepared to quickly resume the transit of natural gas through its territory for Eastern European countries – though not Russian gas, but Azerbaijani gas-Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced after discussions with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Davos earlier this week.

"We can use our infrastructure if Eastern European countries genuinely need gas – not Russian gas... We can do this quickly, sign contracts, and set everything up without delay," Zelenskyy stated during a briefing in Kyiv on January 24.
