KIEV, Oct. 31 ??“ President Viktor Yushchenko on Tuesday used his constitutional power to suspend the government??™s resolution that had been seeking to impose greater control over police forces across the country.

The pro-government coalition, however, may retaliate on Wednesday as it had scheduled a vote that may oust Internal Affairs Minister Vitaliy Lutsenko, a Yushchenko loyalist.
