KIEV, Oct. 12 - President Viktor Yushchenko met Jeroen van der Veer, chief executive officer of the Royal Dutch/Shell Group, on Thursday, to express support for the company??™s energy projects in Ukraine.

Yushchenko welcomed the expansion of Shell in Ukraine and described this as ???an important event??? for the country??™s energy sector, the presidential press service reported.
