KYIV, Nov 26 – The government may be preparing to increase tariffs for power supplied to households, but the hike will not be steep, Acting Energy Minister Yuriy Boiko.

"The decision will be ready for aproval next week. It will provide for the most balanced and maximally subtle approach in terms of tariffs for household consumers," Boiko said.

According to Boiko, the decision to revise the tariff will be made taking into account general economic factors, including the level of solvency of the household consumer sector.
