KIEV, Sept. 11 ??“ Zasyadko coalmine in Donetsk region has sold to Austria and Japan carbon dioxide emission quotas worth ?2.5 million under the terms of the Kyoto protocol, Coal Minister Serhiy Tulub announced.

"Today we should take this route," he said.

The minister voiced regret that Ukraine had not worked out a scheme for the realization of the Kyoto protocol.
