KIEV, Sept. 4 ??“ Former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, the leader of the opposition in Ukraine, attacked the government of Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych on Monday for attempts to cut special spending and unclear foreign policy.

The attack is the strongest criticism of Yanukovych by Tymoshenko since he has been approved as prime minister on Aug. 5, undermining a coalition that had nominated Tymoshenko to the post.
