National nuclear generating company EnergoAtom is to launch hydro turbines three and four at the Tashlyk pumped storage plant in 2009, and hydro turbines five and six in 2010. Tashlyk is part of the Yuzhnoukrainsk power complex, which includes the Yuzhnoukrainsk nuclear plant and Oleksandrivska hydroelectric.
