KIEV, July 3 - Ukraine plans to build a diesel-fuel producing plant in the 30-kilometers area of Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant that has been contaminated with radioactivity from an exploded nuclear power reactor in 1986.

The plant will use agriculture commodities, such as rapeseed, as raw materials to produce the fuel known as bio-diesel, Energy and Fuel Minister Ivan Plachkov said Monday.
