KIEV, June 20 ??“ Turkmenistan on Tuesday accused several Western diplomats and local human rights group activists of plotting in order to overthrow the government in an uprising similar to Ukraine??™s Orange Revolution in 2004.

A top security service chief accused the two arrested local activists for attending a special training session in Ukraine to learn uprising techniques and other spy issues.

The development may seriously complicate relations between Ukraine and Turkmenistan, its biggest source of natural gas, potentially making Ukraine more dependent on Russia, its only other gas source.
