KYIV, March 26 – Ukraine will create an agency of advanced technologies to implement new technologies in the defense industry, Ukroboronprom state concern director Pavlo Bukin said.

The agency, which will be modeled on DARPA of the U.S., will be created at at the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, or KPI.

"It is necessary to legislatively create a mechanism for innovation activity financing and preferential taxation," Bukin said in the Verkhovna Rada.
