MOSCOW, June 1 ??“ European Aeronautic Defense and Space Co, or EADS, the world??™s second-largest aerospace company, has been seeking cooperation with Ukrainian developers of the An-70 aircraft, an industry executive said Thursday.

EADS, which co-owns Airbus Industrie, has been working for years to develop a similar A400 military transport aircraft, but had apparently run into technical problems inflating its costs.
