KYIV, Nov 27 - The European Union acknowledges the European aspirations of the countries participating in the Eastern Partnership (EaP) program, including Ukraine, as stated in the Association Agreements, according to the joint declaration of the Eastern Partnership summit.

"The Summit participants acknowledge the European aspirations and European choice of the partners concerned, as stated in the Association Agreements. The agreements provide for accelerating political association and economic integration with the European Union," reads the declaration, which was posted on the website of the Council of the European Union on Friday, November 24.
