KIEV, June 26 - President Petro Poroshenko, after his meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump last week, said Sunday the U.S. is strongly backing Ukraine in opposing Russia’s Nord Stream-2 pipeline in Europe.

U.S. authorities recently indicated they may escalate anti-Russian sanctions by making it more difficult for Russian companies and other businesses to raise money and build the Nord Stream-2.
