KIEV, March 27 ??“ Leonid Chernovetskiy, a liberal lawmaker and a member of Our Ukraine, has been emerging as a winner in Kiev mayor election Sunday defeating incumbent Oleksandr Omelchenko, according to vote counting data released Monday.

Chernovetskiy has been leading with 31.6% of the vote, followed by retired world boxing champion Vitaliy Klichko??™s 23.03% and Omelchenko??™s 22.16% of the vote, the Kiev election commission reported after counting 15.7% of ballots.
