Logistics the key conflict-zone coal objective, DTEK CEO says
Journal Staff Report

KIEV, Sept. 23 – The key objective in the management of coal assets of DTEK private energy holding in the Donbas conflict zone remains logistics, DTEK CEO Maksym Tymchenko told Interfax-Ukraine.

"The key task is logistics, because coal production volumes directly depend on the level we can bring to the controlled area, while the production volume influences all the other components," he said.

Tymchenko noted coal business requires constant support and continued investment, but now in the conflict zone the matter concerns at least investment in maintaining production volumes.
