MINSK, March 19 ??“ Belarusian opposition leaders denounced as fraudulent the presidential election Sunday and called on thousands of their supporters to the streets on Monday to put pressure on the authorities.

The calls for the action came after some 10,000 protesters had flocked to a downtown square in Minsk late Sunday rallying in support of the opposition candidates.
