KIEV, March 11 ??“ Ukrainian Foreign Minister Boris Tarasiuk, during his recent trip to Washington, met U.S. President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney to discuss ways of increasing energy security in Europe.

The high-level meetings underscore mounting concerns in the U.S. over Russia??™s move in January to shut down its gas supplies to Ukraine that has triggered supply disruptions throughout Europe.
