KIEV, March 4 ??“ Ukraine sealed off border with Moldova??™s breakaway republic of TransDnistria on Friday in a move that had angered Russia and may lead to dramatically escalating tensions in the region.

Ukraine, the only country through which TransDnistrian republic is handling its foreign trade, said all export shipments have to have an approval from Moldovan authorities before they cross the border.
