KIEV, Feb. 24 ??“ Nyzhniodniprovsky Steel Pipe Plant, one of Ukraine??™s biggest producers of steel pipes, will invest $410 mln to build a steel-smelting facility with an annual capacity of 1.32 mln tons, the company said.

The project will help the company to replace energy-intensive, inefficient and environmentally damaging methods of steel production with advanced process of electric-steel-smelting.
