BERLIN, Nov 25 - Europeans will step up military support for Ukraine, Germany's defense minister pledged on Monday after talks with his British, French, Italian and Polish counterparts on how to foster defense efforts as Donald Trump is set to return to the White House, Reuters reported.

PM sees ‘no corruption’ at level of top government officials
KYIV, Nov 22 – Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk has said that there is no corruption on a top level in Ukraine as of today.
"Today, there is absolutely no corruption in Ukraine among top officials. I am sure there would be no corruption at all levels very soon. We have good macroeconomic indicators today, the level of inflation decreases, every year the indicators in the ratings of reputable international agencies improve," he wrote on Facebook following a participation in the First Investment Forum of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). |
Parliament approves 2019 budget with deficit set at 2.3% of GDP
KYIV, Nov 23 – Parliament passed a bill on the national budget of Ukraine for 2019 with the deficit within 2.3% of Ukraine's GDP.
"The budget remains balanced and realistic. The deficit is within 2.3% of GDP. This will enable us to confidently enter 2019," Finance Minister Oksana Markarova said. |
