Klimkin and Swedish counterpart discuss sanctions against Russia

KIEV, Sept. 23 – Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin and Foreign Minister of Sweden Margot Wallstrom at a meeting in New York on September 22 discussed the development of bilateral relations, as well as the importance of maintaining the sanctions against Russia and facilitating of the work of the Special OSCE monitoring mission in Ukraine.


UN World Food Program promises continued support for Donbas refugees

KIEV, Sept. 26 – The United Nations World Food Program (WFP) will continue to support refugees from Donbas conflict zone in Ukraine, WFP Representative in Ukraine Dorte Ellehammer promised, the Agrarian Policy Ministry reported.


Poroshenko seeking at least $1 billion for Donbas restoration fund

KIEV, Sept. 25 – President Petro Poroshenko said he hopes that the fund for Donbas restoration will collect at least $1 billion.

"I have no doubts that we'll manage to accumulate at least $1 billion into a special fund for Donbas infrastructure restoration and not just due to funds from the taxpayers of Ukraine," he said at a press conference in Kiev on Thursday.
