KIEV, Sept. 25 – The National Bank of Ukraine has called on commercial banks to give an opportunity to the public to buy cash foreign currency within the administratively imposed restriction (equivalent of UAH 3,000).

The regulator expects that banks will give the appropriate answer – cash desks of banks all over the country will have cash foreign currency, so that each citizen can easily buy foreign currency of the equivalent of up to UAH 3,000 a day," NBU Governor Valeriya Gontareva said at a meeting with heads of the 40 largest banks held on Wednesday.
