KIEV, Dec. 21 - President Viktor Yushchenko will hold a meeting with leaders of the government and Parliament Thursday to discuss steps Ukraine should take if natural gas dispute with Russia gets out of control.

The meeting shows degree of concern within the authorities over the bitter gas dispute that may potentially have a devastating effect on the Ukrainian economy and European gas supplies.
