KIEV, Dec. 14 - The Ukrainian government will hold a special meeting Thursday to discuss an escalating natural gas dispute with Russia that may lead to disruptions of gas supplies, officials said Wednesday.

Prime Minister Yuriy Yekhanurov will chair the meeting and plans to hear reports from Energy and Fuel Minister Ivan Plachkov, the chief negotiator of gas issues with Russia and Turkmenistan.
