NOVO-OGARYOVO, Dec. 8 - Russian President Vladimir Putin said that energy negotiations should not have any impact on bilateral Russian-Ukrainian relations.

"I would like to attract the Russian government's attention to the fact that energy negotiations with Ukraine between economic agents should not have any impact on the development of intergovernmental ties. This is the most important thing," Putin said at a meeting with economic ministers on Thursday.
