KIEV, Nov. 14 - Russia and Ukraine began talks on Monday to try to agree on volume of Russian natural gas transit via Ukrainian gas pipelines to Europe in 2006, the Energy and Fuel Ministry reported.

Russian Industrial Policy and Energy Minister Viktor Khristenko arrived in Kiev for the talks with Energy and Fuel Minister Ivan Plachkov, the ministry said.
