KIEV, Aug. 6 - Trans-Ukraine LLC plans to build a complex for the transshipment of liquefied petroleum gas, diesel fuel and other goods near state enterprise Oktiabrsk specialized seaport (Mykolaiv region).
"The total investment will amount to about $100 million. We [Oktiabrsk port] will be engaged in transshipment, the pipeline will be brought to the sixth pier, where the port will be responsible for handling light petroleum products and liquefied gas. The complex [to be built by Trans-Ukraine] will be engaged only in their unloading and storage," Port Chief Andriy Yehorov said in an interview with the Mykolaivsky Ohliadach local publication.
Yehorov added that fuel handling will be performed by Trans-Ukraine exclusively to rail transport.
