KIEV, June 26 – A solid household waste plant with the capacity of 100,000 tons a year was opened on Tuesday near Rivne, the Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry reported.

"This is a landmark event not only for the region, but also for Ukraine," Ecology and Natural Resources Minister Oleh Proskuriakov said at the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the press service said.
