Starting from September 2024, two Ukrainian producers have supplied more than 5 million cubic meters of biomethane to the Ukrainian gas transportation system (GTS), the Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine (GTSOU) said on Monday, citing Kateryna Kovalenko, the company's strategy manager. "Ukrainian biomethane producers already have the opportunity to transport biomethane through the Ukrainian gas transportation system for export abroad (…) With access to the GTS, a biomethane producer gets the opportunity to sell it to any consumer in Ukraine or abroad," she said.
