President Volodymyr Zelenskyy hailed the newly signed U.S.-Ukraine agreement on joint mineral extraction as a win-win and expressed hope it could pave the way for Ukraine to obtain much-needed air defense systems. "This mineral resources deal is beneficial for both sides. I said [during my talks with President Trump] that I believe our teams will make every effort to move forward constructively and set a firm date for signing," Zelenskyy told reporters.
