KIEV, Oct. 31 ??“ A major compromise may have emerged Monday at a meeting between President Viktor Yushchenko and Parliament group leaders, signaling a possible breakthrough in Ukraine??™s quick accession to the World Trade Organization.

Yushchenko, who badly needs support of the majority in Parliament, suggested to nominate Oleksandr Medvedko, a long-time law enforcement official from Donetsk, as the prosecutor general.
