KIEV, Oct. 17 ??“ Three bidders, including the world??™s two biggest steel producers, Mittal Steel and Arcelor, placed $200 million deposits each with the State Property Fund seeking to bid for Kryvorizhstal, the SPF said Monday.

The number of bidders appears to be less than 10 to 12 companies that had been expected by the government to bid for 93% stake in Kryvorizhstal, Ukraine??™s largest steelmaker.
