KIEV, Oct. 14 - Ukraine and Turkmenistan agreed on ways of clearing about $500 mln debt for natural gas supplies to alleviate a major problem in relations, the Energy and Fuel Ministry reported Friday.

The countries also agreed that Ukraine will buy natural gas in Turkmenistan at $44/1,000 cubic meters in 2006, unchanged from this year, the ministry said.
