KIEV, Oct. 7 - President Viktor Yushchenko said Friday the government should intensify efforts for building up reserves of natural gas, crude oil and petroleum products.

???I am convinced that one cannot live anymore the way Ukraine used to, when the country had not enough oil or gas reserves for even a week,??? Yushchenko said speaking at a press conference.
