
KIEV, Sept. 15 - From January through August, Ukraine trimmed oil transportation through its territory by 11% (4.211 million tons) against the same period in 2005, to 32.408 million tons.
As Interfax-Ukraine earned from the Fuel and Energy ministry, oil transit to Central European countries (Slovakia, Hungary and the Czech Republic) fell over eight months by 1%, or 276,000 tons, to 21.323 million tons. Volumes of oil pumped to domestic consumers fell 26% (3.935 million tons), to 11.085 million tons.
