Kinakh: Economic growth will be lower than previous govt estimate
Journal Staff Report

KIEV, Sept. 14 - Ukraine's economy will probably grow 4% on the year in 2005, not 6% that had been earlier expected, First Deputy Prime Minister Anatoliy Kinakh said Wednesday after the government had revised its forecast.

The revision came after the State Statistics Committee released data showing that the Ukrainian economy had contracted in August for the first time in six years.
