
KIEV, Sept. 8 - Yuriy Yekhanurov, an ally of President Viktor Yushchenko who was appointed acting prime minister Thursday, said he will seek to prevent an impact of the political crisis on the economy.
Yekhanurov, the governor of the Dnipropetrovsk region, was traveling on a business trip to Odessa, when news broke out that he had been appointed the acting prime minister to replace Yulia Tymoshenko.
