KIEV, Aug. 19 - Leaders of Poland and Lithuania both accepted invitations Thursday to pay official visits to Ukraine in the fall, a sign that the countries wish to move rapidly towards establishing a new regional bloc.

Ukraine is supposed in the fall to host an inauguration conference of the bloc that will stretch from the Baltic Sea to the Caspian Sea and may include many more countries. No date for the conference has yet been disclosed.
